أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ
“Beware! In the remembrance of Allah do hearts find solace.”
Surah Ar-Ra'd • 13:28 • Kanzul ImanAyat-ul-Kursi (آیۃ الکرسی)
Target: 1 timeاللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
“Allahu la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyoom. La ta'khudhuhu sinatunw-wa la nawm. Lahu ma fis-samawati wa ma fil-ard. Man dhal-ladhee yashfa'u 'indahoo illa bi-idhnih. Ya'lamu ma bayna aydeehim wa ma khalfahum, wa la yuheetoona bi-shay'im-min 'ilmihee illa bima sha'a. Wasi'a kursiyyuhus-samawati wal-ard, wa la ya'ooduhu hifzuhuma, wa Huwal-'Aliyyul-'Azeem.”
اللہ ہے جس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ آپ زندہ اور اوروں کا قائم رکھنے والا، اسے نہ اونگھ آئے نہ نیند، اسی کا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں، کون ہے جو اس کے یہاں سفارش کرے بے اس کے حکم کے، جانتا ہے جو کچھ ان کے آگے ہے اور جو کچھ ان کے پیچھے، اور وہ نہیں پاتے اس کے علم میں سے مگر جتنا وہ چاہے، اس کی کرسی میں سمائے ہوئے ہیں آسمان اور زمین، اور اسے بھاری نہیں ان کی نگہبانی، اور وہی ہے بلند بڑائی والا۔ (کنز الایمان)
Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth...
Whoever recites this when waking in the morning will be protected from jinn until evening, and whoever recites it in the evening will be protected until morning.
The Three Quls (Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, An-Nas)
Target: 3 timesبِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ
“Surah Al-Ikhlas, Surah Al-Falaq, and Surah An-Nas.”
سورۃ الاخلاص، سورۃ الفلق اور سورۃ الناس۔ تمام آفتوں، حسد اور جادو سے حفاظت کا مکمل حصار۔
Recite Surah Al-Ikhlas, Surah Al-Falaq, and Surah An-Nas 3 times morning and evening.
The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Reciting these three times in the morning and evening will suffice you against everything (harm, evil eye, black magic).'
Sayyid-ul-Istighfar (سید الاستغفار - The Master Supplication for Forgiveness)
Target: 1 timeاللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
“Allahumma Anta Rabbee la ilaha illa Anta, khalaqtanee wa ana 'abduka, wa ana 'ala 'ahdika wa wa'dika mas-tata'tu, a'oodhu bika min sharri ma sana'tu, aboo'u laka bi-ni'matika 'alayya, wa aboo'u laka bi-dhambee faghfir lee, fa-innahoo la yaghfirudh-dhunooba illa Ant.”
اے اللہ! تو میرا رب ہے، تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، تو نے ہی مجھے پیدا کیا اور میں تیرا بندہ ہوں اور میں اپنی طاقت کے مطابق تیرے عہد اور وعدے پر قائم ہوں، میں نے جو برائیاں کیں ان کے شر سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں، میں تیرے سامنے تیرے ان انعامات کا اعتراف کرتا ہوں جو مجھ پر ہیں، اور اپنے گناہوں کا اعتراف کرتا ہوں، پس مجھے بخش دے کیونکہ تیرے سوا کوئی گناہوں کو نہیں بخش سکتا۔
O Allah, You are my Lord; there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your slave, and I abide by Your covenant and promise as best I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favors upon me and I acknowledge my sins, so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.
The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever says this during the day with firm faith and dies before evening will be among the people of Paradise; and whoever says it at night with firm faith and dies before morning will be among the people of Paradise.'
Morning Covenant (أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ)
Target: 1 timeأَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، رَبِّ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ، رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَسُوءِ الْكِبَرِ، رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ وَعَذَابٍ فِي الْقَبْرِ
“Asbahna wa asbahal-mulku lillahi, wal-hamdu lillahi, la ilaha illallahu wahdahoo la shareeka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa Huwa 'ala kulli shay'in Qadeer. Rabbi as-aluka khayra ma fee hadhal-yawmi wa khayra ma ba'daho, wa a'oodhu bika min sharri ma fee hadhal-yawmi wa sharri ma ba'dah. Rabbi a'oodhu bika minal-kasali wa soo'il-kibar, Rabbi a'oodhu bika min 'adhabin fin-nari wa 'adhabin fil-qabr.”
ہم نے صبح کی اور اللہ کے لئے ملک نے صبح کی، اور تمام تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے لئے ہیں، اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں وہ یکتا ہے اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اسی کی بادشاہی ہے اور اسی کی تعریف ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔ اے میرے رب! میں تجھ سے اس دن کی اور اس کے بعد کے دن کی بھلائی کا سوال کرتا ہوں...
We have entered the morning and the kingdom belongs to Allah, and all praise is for Allah. There is no deity except Allah alone, without partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs praise, and He is over all things competent...

Shield of Divine Name (بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ)
Target: 3 timesبِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
“Bismillahil-ladhee la yadurru ma'as-mihee shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa Huwas-Sami'ul-'Aleem.”
اللہ کے نام سے جس کے نام کی برکت سے زمین اور آسمان کی کوئی چیز نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکتی، اور وہی خوب سننے والا، خوب جاننے والا ہے۔
In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever recites it three times in the morning and three times in the evening, nothing will harm him—neither sudden illness, poison, nor tragedy.'
Contentment with Faith (رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا)
Target: 3 timesرَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيًّا
“Radheetu billahi Rabbaa, wa bil-Islami deenaa, wa bi Muhammadin sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallama Nabiyyaa.”
میں اللہ کے رب ہونے، اسلام کے دین ہونے اور محمد ﷺ کے نبی ہونے پر راضی اور مطمئن ہو گیا۔
I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad ﷺ as my Prophet.
The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Allah has taken it upon Himself that whoever says this three times in the morning and evening, He will surely please him on the Day of Resurrection.'
The Sufficiency of Allah (حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ)
Target: 7 timesحَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ ۖ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
“Hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa Huwa, 'alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rabbul-'Arshil-'Azeem.”
مجھے اللہ ہی کافی ہے اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، اسی پر میں نے بھروسہ کیا اور وہ بڑے عرش کا مالک ہے۔
Allah is sufficient for me; there is no deity except Him. Upon Him I have relied, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne.
The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever recites this seven times in the morning and evening, Allah will suffice him in all matters that distress him in this world and the Hereafter.'
Plea of the Living & Sustaining (يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ)
Target: 1 timeيَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ، أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ، وَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ
“Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyoomu bi-rahmatika astagheeth, aslih lee sha'nee kullah, wa la takilnee ila nafsee tarfata 'ayn.”
اے زندہ اور قائم رکھنے والے! میں تیری ہی رحمت کے وسیلے سے فریاد کرتا ہوں، تو میرے تمام کام درست فرما دے، اور مجھے آنکھ جھپکنے کی مقدار بھی میرے نفس کے حوالے نہ فرما۔
O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, by Your mercy I seek assistance. Rectify for me all of my affairs and do not leave me to myself even for the blink of an eye.

Prayer for Health & Sensory Protection (اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَدَنِي)
Target: 3 timesاللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَدَنِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي سَمْعِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَصَرِي، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالْفَقْرِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
“Allahumma 'afinee fee badanee, Allahumma 'afinee fee sam'ee, Allahumma 'afinee fee basaree, la ilaha illa Ant. Allahumma innee a'oodhu bika minal-kufri wal-faqr, wa a'oodhu bika min 'adhabil-qabr, la ilaha illa Ant.”
اے اللہ! میرے بدن میں مجھے عافیت عطا فرما، اے اللہ! میرے کانوں میں عافیت عطا فرما، اے اللہ! میری نگاہوں میں عافیت عطا فرما، تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔ اے اللہ! میں کفر اور فقر (تنگدستی) سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں، اور عذابِ قبر سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں، تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔
O Allah, grant health to my body. O Allah, grant health to my hearing. O Allah, grant health to my sight. There is no deity except You. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief and poverty, and from the punishment of the grave...

100x Glorification (سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ)

Glory be to Allah and all praise is His.
The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever says this one hundred times in the morning and evening, his sins will be forgiven even if they were like the foam of the sea, and no one will bring anything better on Judgment Day except one who said the same or more.'
100x Tawheed Fortress (لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ)
Target: 100 timesلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
“La ilaha illallahu wahdahoo la shareeka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa 'ala kulli shay'in Qadeer.”
اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں وہ اکیلا ہے اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اسی کی بادشاہی ہے اور اسی کے لئے تعریف ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔
There is no deity except Allah alone, without partner. To Him belongs all dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is over all things competent.
The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever says this 100 times in a day will have the reward of freeing 10 slaves, 100 good deeds written, 100 bad deeds erased, and it will be a shield against Shaytan that entire day.'
Spiritual Virtues & Best Times for Recitation
Morning Azkar (صبح کے اذکار)
The ideal window begins immediately after the Fajrprayer until the sun rises (Ishraq). Reciting during this blessed dawn hours envelops the believer in Allah's angels' protection throughout the day.
Evening Azkar (شام کے اذکار)
Begins after the Asr prayer until Maghrib or early night. As darkness falls and evil forces disperse, these invocations act as an impenetrable spiritual shield for your home and family.
The Master of Repentance: Sayyidul Istighfar
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “The most superior request for forgiveness is to say: Allahumma Anta Rabbi La Ilaha Illa Ant... If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith and dies before evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if he recites it at night with firm faith and dies before morning, he will be from the people of Paradise.”
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I recite the Azkar from my phone without Wudu?
Yes. While being in the state of ritual purity (Wudu) is recommended and carries greater spiritual reward, reciting general daily Azkar and duas from memory or a digital screen is permissible without Wudu.
What if I miss reciting the Morning Azkar before sunrise?
You can still recite them throughout the morning hours until midday (Zawal / Dhuhr). The doors of divine mercy and remembrance remain open at all times.
Are the translations aligned with authentic Sunni scholarship?
