وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ ۖ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ
“And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me.”
Surah Al-Baqarah • 2:186 • Kanzul ImanDua Before Sleeping (سوتے وقت کی دعا)
Recited right before falling asleep, lying on the right side.
اللَّهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
“Allahumma bismika amootu wa ahya.”
اے اللہ! میں تیرے نام کے ساتھ مرتا (سوتا) ہوں اور جیتا (جاگتا) ہوں۔
Places the soul directly in Allah's Divine protection throughout the night.
Dua Upon Waking Up (نیند سے بیدار ہونے کی دعا)
Recited immediately upon opening one's eyes in the morning.
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
“Alhamdulillahi alladhee ahyana ba'da ma amatana wa ilayhin-nushoor.”
تمام تعریفیں اللہ کے لئے ہیں جس نے ہمیں مارنے (سلانے) کے بعد زندہ کیا اور اسی کی طرف اٹھ کر جانا ہے۔
Acknowledges the gift of another day to perform righteous deeds and seek forgiveness.
When Experiencing Nightmares or Anxiety (خواب میں ڈرنے کی دعا)
Recited when feeling terrified, troubled by bad dreams, or suffering insomnia.
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ غَضَبِهِ وَعِقَابِهِ وَشَرِّ عِبَادِهِ، وَمِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ
“A'oodhu bi-kalimatillahit-tammati min ghadabihee wa 'iqabihee wa sharri 'ibadih, wa min hamazatish-shayateeni wa an yahduroon.”
میں اللہ کے مکمل کلمات کے ذریعے اس کے غضب، اس کی سزا، اس کے بندوں کے شر اور شیاطین کے وسوسوں سے اور ان کے میرے پاس آنے سے پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔
Instills tranquility in the heart and banishes night terrors.
Dua Before Eating (کھانا شروع کرنے کی دعا)
Recited before beginning any meal or refreshment.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَعَلَى بَرَكَةِ اللَّهِ
“Bismillahi wa 'ala barakatillah.”
اللہ کے نام سے اور اللہ کی برکت پر (کھانا شروع کرتا ہوں)۔
Deprives Shaytan of sharing in your meal and infuses barakah into the food.
If You Forget to Say Bismillah (کھانے کے درمیان یاد آنے کی دعا)
Recited as soon as one remembers during the meal.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَوَّلَهُ وَآخِرَهُ
“Bismillahi awwalahoo wa akhirah.”
اللہ کے نام سے، اس کے اول اور اس کے آخر میں۔
Causes Shaytan to vomit whatever he had partaken from the meal.
Dua After Finishing Meal (کھانے کے بعد کی دعا)
Recited after concluding a meal.
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَجَعَلَنَا مُسْلِمِينَ
“Alhamdulillahi alladhee at'amana wa saqana wa ja'alana muslimeen.”
تمام تعریفیں اللہ کے لئے ہیں جس نے ہمیں کھلایا اور پلایا اور ہمیں مسلمانوں میں سے بنایا۔
Expresses gratitude to the Creator for sustenance and the greatest blessing of Islam.
Dua When Leaving Home (گھر سے نکلتے وقت کی دعا)
Recited upon stepping foot outside the house.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
“Bismillahi tawakkaltu 'alallahi, la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.”
اللہ کے نام سے، میں نے اللہ پر بھروسہ کیا، گناہوں سے بچنے اور نیکی کرنے کی کوئی طاقت نہیں مگر اللہ کی توفیق سے۔
Angels call out: 'You are guided, defended, and protected,' and devils steer clear away.
Dua When Entering Home (گھر میں داخل ہوتے وقت کی دعا)
Recited upon entering one's house, followed by greeting the family with Salam.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَلَجْنَا، وَبِسْمِ اللَّهِ خَرَجْنَا، وَعَلَى رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا
“Bismillahi walajna, wa bismillahi kharajna, wa 'ala Rabbina tawakkalna.”
اللہ کے نام سے ہم داخل ہوئے اور اللہ ہی کے نام سے ہم نکلے اور ہم نے اپنے رب ہی پر بھروسہ کیا۔
Blocks Shaytan from entering and spending the night in your dwelling.
Dua Looking in the Mirror (آئینہ دیکھتے وقت کی دعا)
Recited when seeing one's reflection in a mirror.
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ حَسَّنْتَ خَلْقِي فَحَسِّنْ خُلُقِي
“Allahumma Anta hassanta khalqee fahassin khuluqee.”
اے اللہ! جیسے تو نے میری ظاہری صورت اچھی بنائی، ویسے ہی میرے اخلاق بھی اچھے فرما دے۔
Nurtures inner humility, preventing vanity and arrogance.
Dua for Wearing New Clothes (نیا کپڑا پہننے کی دعا)
Recited when dressing in newly acquired or freshly washed garments.
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَسَانِي هَذَا الثَّوْبَ وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ
“Alhamdulillahi alladhee kasanee hadhath-thawba wa razaqaneehi min ghayri hawlim-minnee wa la quwwah.”
تمام تعریفیں اللہ کے لئے ہیں جس نے مجھے یہ کپڑا پہنایا اور میری کسی طاقت اور قوت کے بغیر مجھے یہ عطا فرمایا۔
Forgives all past minor sins.
Dua for Entering the Masjid (مسجد میں داخل ہوتے وقت کی دعا)
Recited with right foot first upon entering the sacred prayer hall.
اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
“Allahummaf-tah lee abwaba rahmatik.”
اے اللہ! میرے لئے اپنی رحمت کے دروازے کھول دے۔
Draws immediate divine mercy upon taking the first step into the house of Allah.
Dua for Leaving the Masjid (مسجد سے نکلتے وقت کی دعا)
Recited with left foot stepping out first.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ
“Allahumma innee as-aluka min fadlik.”
اے اللہ! بیشک میں تجھ سے تیرے فضل کا سوال کرتا ہوں۔
Surrounds the believer with halal sustenance and barakah in worldly work.
Dua After the Azaan (اذان کے بعد کی دعا)
Recited after repeating the call to prayer and sending Salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ.
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ، وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ، آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ، وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ
“Allahumma Rabba hadhihid-da'watit-tammah, was-salatil-qa'imah, ati Muhammadanil-waseelata wal-fadeelah, wab'ath-hu maqamam-mahmoodanil-ladhee wa'adtah.”
اے اللہ! اس کامل پکار اور قائم ہونے والی نماز کے رب! ہمارے آقا محمد ﷺ کو وسیلہ اور فضیلت عطا فرما، اور انہیں اس مقامِ محمود پر فائز فرما جس کا تو نے ان سے وعدہ کیا ہے۔
The Prophet ﷺ guaranteed: 'Whoever says this after the Azaan, my intercession (Shafa'ah) becomes obligatory for him on the Day of Judgment.'
Safar ki Dua / Boarding Vehicle (سفر کی دعا / سوار ہونے کی دعا)
Recited after mounting a car, train, airplane, or ship.
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ
“Subhanal-ladhee sakh-khara lana hadha wa ma kunna lahoo muqrineen, wa inna ila Rabbina lamunqaliboon.”
پاک ہے وہ ذات جس نے ہمارے لئے اسے مسخر کیا حالانکہ ہم اسے قابو میں لانے والے نہ تھے، اور بیشک ہم اپنے رب ہی کی طرف لوٹ کر جانے والے ہیں۔
Fortress of safety from accidents, breakdowns, delays, and journey perils.
Dua Returning from Travel (سفر سے واپسی کی دعا)
Recited when catching sight of one's hometown or approaching home.
آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ
“A-yiboona, ta'iboona, 'abidoona, li-Rabbina hamidoon.”
ہم واپس لوٹنے والے ہیں، توبہ کرنے والے ہیں، اپنے رب ہی کی عبادت کرنے والے اور اسی کی حمد بیان کرنے والے ہیں۔
Brings barakah upon returning to your family and home.
Dua for Protection from Evil Eye / Nazar (نظرِ بد اور بچوں کی حفاظت کی دعا)
Recited over children, family members, or wealth to ward off harmful envy and malice.
أُعِيذُكَ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ
“U'eedhuka bi-kalimatillahit-tammati min kulli shaytaninw-wa hammah, wa min kulli 'aynin lammah.”
میں تجھے اللہ کے تمام کلمات کی پناہ میں دیتا ہوں ہر شیطان سے اور ہر زہریلے جانور سے اور ہر لگ جانے والی بری نظر سے۔

Dua for Entering the Market / Bazaar (بازار میں داخل ہوتے وقت کی دعا)
Recited when entering a shopping center, mall, or bustling market.
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ، وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ، بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
“La ilaha illallahu wahdahoo la shareeka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, yuhyee wa yumeetu wa Huwa Hayyul-la yamoot, bi-yadihil-khayr, wa Huwa 'ala kulli shay'in Qadeer.”
اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں وہ اکیلا ہے اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اسی کی بادشاہی ہے اور اسی کی حمد ہے، وہی جلاتا اور مارتا ہے اور وہ ہمیشہ زندہ ہے جسے کبھی موت نہیں، اسی کے ہاتھ میں تمام بھلائی ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔
Allah writes for the reciter one million good deeds, erases one million sins, and elevates them one million ranks!
When Seeing Something Admirable (کسی اچھی چیز کو دیکھ کر نظر سے بچانے کی دعا)
Recited whenever you see something beautiful in yourself, your child, or another person.
مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ فِيهِ
“Masha'Allahu la quwwata illa billah. Allahumma barik feeh.”
جو اللہ چاہے، اللہ کی توفیق کے بغیر کوئی طاقت نہیں۔ اے اللہ! اس میں برکت عطا فرما۔
Prevents your own eyes from inadvertently casting evil eye (Nazar) upon loved ones.
Ayat-e-Kareema / Yunus's Prayer (آیتِ کریمہ - مصیبت و پریشانی سے نجات)
Recited in times of acute grief, financial distress, legal trouble, or illness.
لَّا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
“La ilaha illa Anta subhanaka innee kuntu minaz-zalimeen.”
تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، تو پاک ہے، بیشک میں ہی قصورواروں میں سے ہوں۔
The Prophet ﷺ said: 'No Muslim supplicates with this in any distress except that Allah relieves him of his trouble.'
Dua for Healing the Sick (مریض کی عیادت اور شفا کی دعا)
Recited 7 times when sitting near an ill person or while feeling pain.
أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ
“As-alullahal-'Azeema Rabbal-'Arshil-'Azeemi an yashfiyak.”
میں عظمت والے اللہ سے جو عرشِ عظیم کا مالک ہے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ وہ تمہیں شفا عطا فرمائے۔
Whoever recites this seven times beside a sick person, Allah cures them unless death has arrived.
How to Make Your Duas Instantly Answered
Praise Allah First
Begin by glorifying Almighty Allah (Alhamdulillah, Subhanallah) and recognizing His limitless Majesty.
Send Durood Sharif
Recite Durood upon the Beloved Prophet ﷺ at the beginning and the end. Duas wrapped in Durood are guaranteed acceptance.
Raise Both Hands
Raise both palms towards the chest with humility, pleading as a humble beggar before the King of kings.
Firm Conviction (Yaqeen)
Supplicate with absolute certainty that Allah will answer, without impatience or despair.
